I have a friend that wants to use some Gameshark codes he downloaded off the internet and upload it to the PS2, and he's wondering what USB flash drives are compatable with the PS2. So I'm asking the Yahoo community to help me out.

Sorry, but the PS2 will not acknowledge any USB "Thumbdrive" without any driver software or a bootloader disc.

You'll need to find some PS2 software that will allow you to do this.

Well you just can`t do that upload a cheat and put it on the PS2 it doesn`t work like that you also need the Gameshark. You need the Gameshark USB drive that stores the code http://www.gameshark.com Gameshark is now Action Replay.

Please use FAT32, not NTFS. However, please note that there are some flash drives that simply won't work with the PS2. I've tried several different flash drives, all using FAT32 filesystems, all of the same storage capacity, on my SCPH-30001. Some of the drives work fine, some simply aren't recognised. Off the top of my head, I can remember that none of the three Sandisk drives I tried worked.

Why don't you try everyway to remember the code and operate it on your PS2 cheat code CDs.
