Because the Rep leadership have no morals when it comes to protecting their own. How many of them knew that Rep. Cunningham was taking bribes from companies for war contracts? Probably a lot. I don't care so much about Foley as I do about the other secrets they are keeping.

They had enough problems at the time! The Republican Leadership knew about Foley at least 4 years ago! And did NOTHING! Too bad we can't treat them as badly as the did Clinton!
