I'm getting a flu shot tomorrow. My mom (she's an RN) said that the shot can make you sick. Is there anyone who knows how bad you get sick or if you get sick at all? How long does it last?

Do NOT get vaccinated.

A vaccinated person is MORE likely to get a disease than a non-vaccinated person. The whole theory of vaccination is flawed. It causes a weakening of the immune system thus making those who are innoculated more susceptible to disease.
There are so many awful side effects to vaccination that it should be considered extremely dangerous.
Just sit back and think for a while.
Is there any sense in injecting a disease directly into the bloodstream.
We have been subjected to an awful mind control program to enable the drug manufacturers to make a fortune.

If you go to the vaccination liberation web page, at
http://www.vaclib.org/exemption.htm
You will find all the forms necessary to provide exemption for your child.

You can not get the flu from a flu vaccine, no matter what any knucklehead might tell you. You can have the coincidence of catching a cold just in time to show signs shortly after a flu shot, but you don't get the flu.

Most people have nothing more than a little arm tenderness where you got the shot. Some people will feel a little flu-like after the shot (this is the immune system responding to the vaccine). In some folks the immune response is strong. How long? A day or two to 7 to 10 days.

If you are young, old, immune suppressed or work with sick people, just get the shot.

Sometimes people get sick from flu shots but most people don't.
You may feel a little woozy for a day or two, but it is a whole lot better than getting the flu.
So get the shot, especially if you have some sort of chronic illness.

Hi there

I disagree with the participants in the forum as we all have are opinion and here is a breif paragraph why:

Vaccinations - Deception and Tragedypart 1--- part 2
"At the present time there are growing public and professional concerns about the safety of currently mandated childhood vaccine programs, as reflected in by a series of annual Congressional hearings in Washington DC that have taken place since 1999, sponsored by the U.S. House Government Reform Committee under the chairmanship of Congressman Dan Burton. At an annual conference of the American College for the Advancement of Medicine during April 2001, with several hundred physicians in attendance, when one of the speakers asked how many in attendance had concerns about the safety of current childhood vaccines, a large majority raised their hands. The Autism Research Institute of San Diego is now widely known as an active support group for families with autistic children and is one of the more active organizations in this field. Its founding director, Bernard Rimland, Ph.D., has provided the statistics that, in their experience, from 50 to 60% of parents with autistic children believe that their children were damaged by vaccines. In our own office we have seen many autistic children in recent years, and our own experience has been very similar, many parents reporting that deterioration of their children took place following vaccines." Dr. Buttram

Please do more research.

Best of health to you.

Cheers

It could be a 12-24 hour thing... IF you even get sick.

I doubt you'll get too terribly sick - it will probably make your stomach ache or give you a little fever... nothing to freak about.

Better something little than being sick for over 2 weeks!

Being a younger person - you most likely will not get sick. If you do, it will just be a normal 24hr. flu.
