The first two, I can't really comment on, but I do know that the nominations for the best player of World Cup 2006, was made at half-time of the final, so the head-butt incident hadn't happened at that time, so he was quite right to be nominated for the award.
I did hear later, that either FIFA had withdrawn his (Zidane) nomination on grounds of violent conduct, or he had pulled out himself (can't quite remember which it was).
As for FIFA as an organistion itself, it is probably the most corrupt organisation there is in the world, there was a Panorama (investigative program) Special done on the BBC towards the end of this years tournament, covering loads of aspects of how the organisation is run, and basically to cut a long story short - Sepp Blatter should have been out a long long time ago, but bought votes(illegal payments) from minoriy territories in Africa and the Carribians (remember Trinidad & Tobago being one for example) for several elections to stay as the head of the organisation, and basically run it all himself, the way he wants international football to be run.
I also remember hearing that there was a police investigation, into FIFAs' bank accounts, regarding fraudulant transactions, and that it was being investigated by the Swiss police, as the accounts were/are based there.
You entitled to voice your opinions, but maybe you should try and do a little research first, as you may find the answers you're looking for!!
Hope this helps you out!

1:Do you have a problem with Australia being part of the asian cup, it gives them a chance to show their skills, and it doesn't harm anyone and it makes sure that Australia is good enough to get in the FIFA WC.
2:Ditto as above...
3: I am tired of you whining about Zidane, what the heck did he do to you! What is ur problem! He was one of the best dam footballers in the world, and u go around mocking him just because he did one thing wrong! How do you base a man's career on 5 minutes! And you know what! I hope Zidane wins the FIFA player of the year, because he deserves it, you are just to fed up with yourself to admit what a great player he is, I don't think you even watch football, you probably just heard about Zidane's headbutt on the news! Get a life and go watch some Zidane highlight clips, it will show some of the amazing things he has done in his career! Really !

Then where do you expect Australia to play? In the Australia cup against themseleves? And by the way, Zidane is a legend and if he doesn't deserve the Player of the year then no one does.

THAT is nothing!!!
The big CLOWN so called "president" Sepp Blatter and his followers (M. Platini in primis) have shown how ridiculus they are... just in this last World Cup.
- They did not go on the fild for the Final celebrations (first time evere in soccer history) because they were disappointed of the France's loss
- The sentence in the Zidane-Materazzi episode was absurd: 3 games suspension for Zidane (yhey knew he was quitting...) and 2 games suspensions for Materazzi (they knew Italy was going to play with France for Euro 2008) which was the first time ever a player is suspended for... no reason: FIRST TIME IN SOCCER HISTORY.
- A couple weeks ago, the clown (Blatter) still bitter for the French who lost to ITALY in the WC, he proposed to eliminate the penalty kicks from the WC (he was the one to change it from the golden goal, silver goal, etc...) and God's know what else he is going to invent!
