What is a good theme area to go into with a major in Sociology?

I don't know what exactly you mean by theme area but I think you mean specialty.

I took a degree in sociology and psychology with a certification in social work. I found a great career in the field of mental health and developmental disabilities. My sociology degree helped in dealing with the family members, guardians, therapists, and technicians I supervised in treatment homes.

Just remember that a bachelor's degree opens the door, but further education and/or experience will be required.
