Several times, I've reached for something in the refrigerator and actually seen it scoot forward and "jump" over the edge before I touched it. The worst was a bowl of borscht that made one heck of a mess on the new carpet.

Telekinesis? I don't know for sure. The fridge was level, so content shifting due to imbalance wasn't the reason. And I *do* clean out my fridge before the leftovers turn into science experiments, so I don't think that was the cause.

I hope, anyway. ;-)

Edit:

For those doing the "thumbs down" on this answer, I'm sorry if you don't believe that things like this can happen. The objects in question scooted forward by several inches just as I reached for them but before I actually touched them.

They were also sitting well back from the front of the refrigerator and had to go over the raised edge of the shelf in order to fall. The refrigerator was level, and nothing else moved -- just the item I was reaching for.

I have enough electrical energy in my body to "jumpstart" an almost dead watch battery, and no watch ever lives more than a few days when it's touching my skin. (I have plenty of witnesses to both phenomenon.) I think the excess electrical energy is what caused the objects to move as I reached for them.

Yes, and some can, with a little assistance. Chairs have suddenly skidded across the room for no apparant reason. Sheetrock has been torn from the wall by apparantly nothing...Toys appear to replace themselves when left alone in a room at times...strange.

In a store I was working at, I was angry with someone in management, was walking by the beer shelves while picturing throwing something at him. The beer was at the BACK of the shelf and no where near the edge. It jumped off the shelf and crashed to the floor just as I moved directly in front of it.

Yes, when I was a kid, I used to have very high fevers due to a hive tumour. When the fever got high enough, I would hallucinate and see all kinds of weird things. I can remember thinking I saw the arms on hanging jackets lifting up and things like that.

I used to hear the dining room chairs moving at night when no one was down there, but I never actually saw it.
