I am not attracted at all and he kills romance when he doesn't brush his teeth and then tries to kiss me. When I don't kiss him he gets very mad at me and says I shouldn't care and he doesn't care if I didnt' brush mine. Is it just me or is this gross? I don't know why he doesn't care or want to brush his teeth. I tell him to and he gets mad or says I brushed them yesterday. HELP!

He should respect his body and you by caring for himself. No, you shouldn't allow him to disrespect your wishes in this way. It is showing love and respect by staying healthy and clean. Maybe he does have bad breath aside from being clean - but a doctor or dentist should help him evaluate why his breath is bad smelling. It may be that there is nothing he can do, some people are just that way, naturally. Although I have a couple tips, drinking enough water keeps the sinuses moist which can contribute to bad breath. Also, is his diet healthy? Him getting mad isn't a good way to show he's caring about your feelings either. I would tell him gently that you preferred he seek (within reason) a way to fix the problem . And if he does all that he can - he should use breath mints. If it's still not helping maybe kissing shouldn't be how you show affection to one another. This isn't a requirement for being intimate.

I understand where you are coming from, as my husband only has a very few teeth in his mouth, and what he does have he doesn't bother to brush. I love him dearly tho and have tried talking to him to no avail. I just live with it and about the only time I don't kiss him is the very first thing in the morning before he has his coffee and cigarette. Once he has had those, it's not so bad. I don't know what else to tell you dear other than just try and cope.

There is a problem here...Yes, you have a right to be upset. I couldn't kiss a man who does not brush his teeth. He should want to look good for you...Wow, I just can't imagine anyone not brushing their teeth that is gross. He should want to be clean for you. I am just curious does he take a bath.....Keep talking to him. Try to make him understand where you are coming from on this subject.

Under no circumstance will I kiss my wife before I've brushed my teeth. The whole really bad breath thing just ruins any romantic moments. With fresh breath & clean teeth you can enjoy intimate moments together.

It all depends on the person I guess. The first thing I do in the morning when I wake up is kiss my husband. some times we have morning sex and it doesn't bother me. Now if its noon time and he still aint brushed..we got a problem other than that I dont make a big issue about it!!

I'd kiss him for sure. I'd kiss him goodbye!
I can't stand bad breath. Even when I can't brush I have mints on hand. And I don't expect other people want me to smell either. If he wants a kiss he has to pass the breath test.
Plus chronic bad breath can be a sign of other things like ulcers and acid reflux.

don't kiss him if u don't want to, just sometime offer him some really strong gum out of the blue and then kiss him. Or just tell him you don't like it and you'll never kiss him again. If he truly cared about u he would brush his teeth.

I have this problem too. It's your personal choice to kiss him or not, if he wants you to kiss him, he'll brush his teeth more often. Have you asked him (nicely and not confrontationaly) why he doesn't brush his teeth?

Bad hygene is a turn off, anyone who thinks otherwise is just too lazy to keep themselves looking (and smelling) good. Giving in and kissing him anyway doesn't help anyone. Make him know he has to brush his teeth!

WOW!

you poor girl??...yucky husband....yuck

I think, because this is a health issue....and it is.Believe me, not brushing teeth, can and does lead to quite serious mouth problems......I would say, if I were in your shoes, a little 'dry-reaching'...could help on your part!

I just have no idea?...what would make him be like this...other from he is lazy, and oral heigine is not one of his top issues.
You haven't said much for me to go on?..like has he always done this. That would be a huge insight.

If not...then something HAS happened to warrent-him ,from stopping...You then, must seek professional help.
Gums become infested with germs...and it can...be the onset-for-bad-health also.

If me...I would offer to ''shake his hand''....when greeting......
Men are very much like little-boys...

You may have to give him some serious 'treats'...'if' he finds that MR Toothbrush! is nothing to be scared of....

They love their treats you know, but nothing nasty!!!.....no need for that rubbish....

Use your womanly thinking my girl!.....
or get him professional help...But! for now, and friendly handshake is all this husband ... should get.
