Does anyone know a good solution for clearing up / preventing milk rash?

My daughter had terrible milk spots on her chin. My health visitor advised me to rub a little vasaline on her chin before each feed to prevent more, they cleared at about 8weeks.

if u mean a infant , then the milk bumps are normal, they clear on there own, but it depends on what has caused the rash. talk to docter and see what he think is best.

if this is in a baby who is on formula then it will go on its own. if this a older child who is on cows milk you need to stop the cows milk and switch to soya or goats milk. having said that speck to you GP they can advise you the best!!!

Don't drink milk for a while...usually goes away slowly

I found that wiping my daughters cheeks with a damp cloth after nursing helps a little, other than that I think we just have to deal with it.
