question! It seems like ppl at work hang on other coworkers' every word. But when I talk, they ignore. Am I that boring? To soft spoken? What?

I'm in public relations. I realize it's mostly when I'm around people at work I feel this way, even at an office lunch. I feel like a shrinking violet.

excuse me what did you just say...lol:-)just kidding.I think maybe they are just busy with their work and they are like this with everyone.Well you need to be a little assertive and make yourself stand out with your work.That would bring attention to you.Dont worry about the attention of people.There are better things in life to be happy about when youstop caring about how people treat you and worry about how you treat others thats what counts.

It is hard to answer that without meeting you in person, Maybe you are soft spoken, maybe you are unsure of yourself. Alot of it has to do with attidude. I saw this movie on DVD last night called the secert. Really opened my eyes, I even order a copy online today. Maybe you should check it out, it sounds like it could help you.
