I'm 29 years old, sitting here in Afghanistan knowing that soon I will be going home to my family. Wanting to be with my family is easy, finding a way to support them is where it begins to get tough.
I'll be out of debt when I get back, and thanks to the good ol GI Bill, I'll be able to put myself through college with a little part time job. I DONT KNOW WHAT TO STUDY! I have no passions, no desires other than to find something I enjoy that will let me stop wondering if I would be happier doing something else! Went thru my whole 20's like that. Bouncing from job to job. does it ever go away?

i used to have the same problem, until i had my son. i'm only 22, but every job that i had, i never liked because i always wanted more. after having my son, i realized the blessing of a good paying job, and my whole outlook has changed. my mom always told me that if i couldn't figure out what to go to school for, go to school for a liberal arts degree and become a teacher/counselor. since you don't have a specific major, why not become something that will help others. don't stop daydreaming though. it's healthy, and i haven't stopped.

Perhaps you should consider majoring in a creative field that would encourage you to use your imagination. Do you have any interest in art, music, cooking, etc.? You can major in any of those fields, and get a job that could put your active imagination to good (and lucrative) use.
