Measure from the top (by your abdomen) to the tip of your erect penis (the head or glans of the penis). The most comfortable way is to use one of those cloth or otherwise flexible measuring tapes. Another way is to use some tissue and tear the tissue and then measure the length of the tissue up to the tear.
You can measure a flaccid (limp) penis pretty much the same way.
You can mesure the circumfrence (thickness) of the penis shaft by taking a strip of paper tissue and wrapping it around your penis.

The most accurate way to measure would be to stand upright whilst you have an erection. Use a ruler where the scale starts at the very end, or allow for the margin if there is one. Press the ruler into your groin along the top surface of your penis shaft, compressing any fat, until you are in contact with the pubic bone. Then read off the measurement in line with your penis tip, after retracting any overhanging foreskin, if you have any.

Step one, get a ruler. Step two, go into a secure room and lock the door. Step three, enjoy yourself into a full erection, bringing yourself almost to ejaculation. Step four, take ruler, lay on top of penis and make sure end is against the base as it protudes from your body. Step four, read marking that corresponds with the end of the penis. That is your accurate way to measure the length. You can also use the ruler to do some light spanking if that turns you on.
Note that your penis is usually at its greatest length just before ejack; length does vary by up to a half inch or so durning the erection and even during different erections, so you may want to repeat steps one through four several times during a month and of course use the highest measurement for bragging purposes.

Yes, every guy once in his life measures his penis. Just put a ruler on the top of the penis and measure from your stomach to the tip of the penis to get the length.

measure in a straight line (not along any curvature of your penis) along the top from your pubic bone (just under the skin above the penis) to the tip. generally the average penis is just under 6 inches regardless of race, religion, or sexual orientation. And despite what some say about black guys being bigger and asians being tiny, there is no correlation: I'm white and I've seen asians with bigger ones than mine and black guys with smaller ones.
