Windows easy. I could find at least 2 maybe 3 ways. Easiest is through My Computer. Assuming Win XP you can click Start -> My Computer. Now [Right Click] on the drive you want to defrag and select "Properties". Most defrag drive C:, but others, like myself, have multiple drives. Go to the "Tools" tab and click the button [Defragment Now]. It will give the option to defragment or analyze. You may not even need to defrag. you can analyze first if you want. Defragmentation may take a few hours depending on the size of your drive and how cluttered it is.

Click START > Programs > Accesories > System Tools > Disk Defragmenter.
