Why does the US waste its time playing games it can't win in the Useless Nuisance (UN)?

Korea, and for the past 56 years, North Korea ,has always been much more Chinese than Japanese. There is a relationship between North Korea and China that seems to elude everybody.
For at least 150 years, historians and people-watchers have predicted that Russia and China have been aching to go to war with each other, but yet they seem to have a strange symbiotic relationship and have been backing each other up at every opportunity.
If anybody can enlighten me, please do.

I really didn't think Russia or China would be so short-sighted. North Korea is much closer to them than us. If anyone is going to get a Kim Jong Il special, it'll be them first.

Russia and China have more brains that BUSH and all his cronies put together. What do they have to gain by siding with USA.
By siding with USA they become stooges of Bush and we all know how much BUSH is loved world over.
If Bush stood for MRS UNIVERSE, he would win Hands down, I mean his hands in his trouser zippers.
But being serious, World has seen enough of what Bush can do the it. Biggest lier with the strongest weapons, Weapons of Mass Destruction. Is Bush not happy with killing over 600,000 Iraqi people since he sent troops there.
I am just wondering, what is wrong with Natives of USA, are they not fed up with this plonker, get his impeached.

Since when "military action is not the way" equals "support Kim!"?
If anything, they are the ones who are likely to solve the situation, if the US would stay for a second OUT of this issue
