"rish'...I knew YOU would pop up. We've gone a few rounds before. You've made your hatred for the US very clear. Your stupidity is crystal clear also. I'm so glad you are not in my country, and feel sorry for the Australians that have to deal with you.

Suzymn3.. Please, don't post on my questions with your silly personal attacks...{ how old are you??} You're ranting, I assume, because I said on a previous matter that your words made you "sound stupid"?? Not very polite, I admit. Apologies for that... I DO INDEED let it fly sometimes!! But.... now that you're chasing me all over this site, using my name and posting your nonsense? I see now, that I was wrong. You don't sound stupid.....You sound like an angry, spiteful young girl with a lot to learn. You DO have potential though. Work on that anger issue! Peace.

I agree with you. All of this bickering, name calling and mindless other crap is getting old. Sometimes I think of how it was on Sept.12, 2001 and I remember being proud of all of us! It's sad that it takes something of that magnitude for us to act like One Nation Under God,

Typical - and ironic - the first answer you get tries and blames the republicans. I don't think the intent of your question got through to them.

If "United we stand" was obvious, the terrorists would have given up years ago. As long as they see an enemy divided, they will pursue their tactics of murder and mayhem.

We are all Americans, and it's about time we acted like it. Disagreement is one thing, personal attacks and flippantly dismissing alternative views as dumb, stupid, and ignorant based only on a political affiliation is, well, dumb, stupid and ignorant.

to boot the reality that it quite is a historic saying, individuals have the excellent style of government for compromise. look, human beings everywhere will disagree on just about something it quite is why there are diverse events. And once you examine comments in this internet site you notice how diverse human beings's perspectives are. yet in comparison to various international places interior the worldwide we can compromise and get alongside fairly lots without bloodshed. If human beings weren't diverse and judgmental they could be robots. that is in simple terms too undesirable they might't be greater well mannered sometimes and exhibit uncomplicated courtesy whilst they disagree.

I agree with the love America theme, I would not want to be anywhere else on earth. I love the place. I'm a Vet and a voter. I think one of, if not, the biggest problem are special interest and the lobbyist. That whole system should be terminated. Special interest are actually writing legislation not just buying it. If we can get these greedy unethical slime off the hill maybe, just maybe, the people we elect can get to the task we elected them for and stop all the name calling, whining and back stabbing.

Try checking voting records and see who is buying dinner, golf, vacations, hookers, and do I need to go on.

Well, the liberals want to surrender to the enemy in the war on terror and if we do that, we will be the Muslim States of America and anybody that doesn't go along with the muslims will get their head chopped off for Allah. We need to be united that we need to win the war!! Ted Turner, a billionaire liberal hasn't decided whether he is for America or not in this war. Please note what "Rish" a muslim is saying above.

I guess the only way we can agree is if the Liberals get the Republicans out of office and and get them to agree with everything the Democrats propose. Do you really want to live in a country that has only one view on everything. 2 or more sides make it very interesting.!
You are comparing Apples with Oranges, Politics is one thing and Prejudice is another entirely.
The only thing I agree with is " Proud to be an American"

The rest of the saying is Divided we fall.
You can thank the current administration for that. They have put us in this turmoil. They divide us up in so many ways:
the haves vs. the have nots.
pro-life vs. pro-choice.
pro Iraq war vs. anti Iraq war
pro illegal vs. anti illegal
pro religion vs. anti religion
left vs. right vs. everyone in between
and all of the above that you have mentioned. It is sad indeed, and if we can't all get along, how can we expect to get along with other countries, or to expect them to respect us? Nothing would make me more happy, than to ensure that the United States remain united.

Even in the beginning of our nation, there was controversy and discord, but our forefathers put aside their differences and worked on "common ground" to form a free nation where we have the right to disagree!

It's a shame that after all this time, we now have a hard time finding the faintest of common ground!

EDIT: Funny how Reba wants to blame the republicans but look who drew first blood in the thread! Shame, Reba, for your outlandish hypocrisy!

Well spoken. I couldn't agree with you more. I hate labels so bad. When things are labeled then they are divided. We are all Americans. And thats it.

United We Stand..Divided We Fall
