I just posted a question about this before I saw your post. The movie is a waste of time. They explain the origins of Thomas Hewitt (Leatherface) in the first ten minutes and the rest is a typical slasher film. And I really liked the original (as in, the one that was released a couple years ago, although I worship the first one from back in the 70's).

I think you should...it would answers alot of questions of WHY or HOW something occurred. I was NOT disappointed in the movie whatsoever.
Very bloody, very gory but it will answer alot of your questions also.

Yeah it was pretty good. I liked it because they showed how he became the bad *** freak that he was. surprisingly, he wasnt always a murderer

if your interested in what happen to him and how did he got in the condiction that he was in.most ppl (such as myself) are also interested in the first ppl he killed
