I know what you mean.... I'm on Answers as a delaying tactic for getting down to some writing!!!
I'm a great believer in setting my self targets. make a list of what you want to achieve in a certain time scale. a day, an afternoon, an hour what ever suits,
make them simple and easily achievable to begin with.... I find that reaching the target , however simple to begin with spurs me on to do more ... for example if your target was to write the introduction paragraph to a piece of work..... when you've done it you will probably be inspired to continue
the key is not to make your list too long to start with.... if you are faced with too many things to do it becomes overwhelming and you end up procrastinating, and doing unimportant things ..... good luck
Now I really must stop procrastinating on Answers and get on with my work!!!!
