I forget where I read it, but I read a statistic that most college graduates these days are making on average (right out of college) $25,000 a year. I remember the statistic so well, because I was honestly shocked. No wonder so many college graduates are moving back home with their parents. Anyway, I'd say that you got it pretty good. If you have excellent benefits, that's worth a lot. There's no point in having a higher salary but no benefits because if something happened to you, it'd drain your savings anyway. I think you're doing pretty well for yourself. Good luck!

Obviously it depends but I would say definitely yes. It is a perfect wage to start at.
I started at 33, 000 out of a bachelor of commerce. I got a $5, 000 raise a couple months in and I've been added to three different bonus programs for another 8, 000.
The point is start there and impress. Work your butt off --- you got nothing to loose and it might be very rewarding.

Yes that is great!...but what will your salary look like over 2, 3 or 5 years... is there growth? Making $40K (BEFORE TAXES) 5 years out of college is not cool... Give yourself a few options... Take the $35K... but don't get too comfortable; unless there is growth, and benefits...

that's not undesirable in case you prefer to stay somewhat under widely used. I went to paintings in the oilfield precise out of highschool in south Louisiana. by using the time i became 21 i became knocking down approximately seventy 5 grand a 365 days. however the paintings is confusing and you may't permit up. in case you reside in the southern U.S. or in the Colorado or Wyoming area it must be some thing you may think of approximately in case you at the instant are not afraid to get grimy and sweaty. One stable element with regard to the confusing paintings, it makes for large muscle tone. extra effective than getting fat.
