e^0= 1 (because anything to the zero power is equal to 1)

e^1= e (because anything to the first power is equal to itself)

e^-1= ( 1 / e) (because anything to the negative 1 power is just the reciprocal of itself)

ln1= 0 (because ln is in base e, so if you were to solve e ^ ? = 1, it would be to the zero power because once again, anything to the zero power is equal to one)

ln0= does not exist (because no number exists where you could take e, raise it to that number, and end up with 0 as an answer)

ln-1= does not exist (because no number exists where you could take e, raise it to that number, and end up with -1 as your answer) on a side note, thats why you are only able to take the natural log of numbers greater than 0.

e^0 = 1
e^1 = e
e^-1 = (1/e)
ln(1) = 0
ln(0) = Unknown
ln(-1) = Unknown

You can't have any values 0 and under and be able to get a ln value.
