It depends on what a woman actually finds herself "Sexy" in.But i openly admit i dont get dressed up to look nice because of what men might want. I get dressed in something nice or "sexy" to feel good about myself.
I do think there are women out there that do definately make themselves look good for men, but not all of them are after the attention that you are talking about.
And absolutely noone can help me decide what looks sexy on me. Only i can make that decision. If I look good in a potato sack and men dont like it then so be it! Find someone else who cares :P

I don't dress sexy for anyone. I dress to please myself and not other people. Nobody decides what is sexy, everyone has their own opinion. No it wasn't men, just because we live in a male-dominated society doesn't mean men make all the decisions, some women do have dignity. Besides, I would hope you wouldn't be so superficial to believe being sexy is just wearing clothing, it's your self-confidence and attitude that makes someone sexy.

It's a bit of both..Sure I like to look attractive for guys
BUT
I worry about what other girls will think to, because women are very judgemental. So when I am getting dressed I keep both sexes in mind. I want to look sexy enough to get male attention, but classy enough to make other women a little envious.

Alot of women like myself do dress sexy from time to time just as a confidence booster. While women can wear jeans and be comfortable.. or sweats and feel as well as look frumpy... dressing sexy is like talking a walk on the wild side, and yes it helps from time to time for a man to look at us.

Well,, if you are not outright dressing a certain way for the attention of a particular male, sometimes it's just to get attention to make yourself feel good. It's not that you want to "atract" a man "to" you because sometimes you just dont want one right now, but sometimes you need to know you can if you want to still. Maybe it a womens ego trip,, otherwise maybe she just has good fashion sense & the particular guy finds it sexy.

Lots of women do but not me. I dress in what I like to wear I can't help it if guys find my outfits sexy. I am married and wear clothes I like cause I like the style and the way it looks on me. I don't wear anything to get peoples attention. I can't help it guys are attracted to women by their clothes. I seem to get guys and females attention no matter what I wear. So I don't have to wear sexy clothes to attract anyone.

I think that when women feel sexy in what they are wearing no matter what it is that is what makes it well...sexy, Sometimes women dress sexy for men, but they do it to make them selves feel good too.

They generally dress sexy for men, unless a lesbian, but only for the right men. They tell you otherwise if they don't like you, or are not interested in any sexual attention. Even if dressing sexy is part of one's personal style, it's hard to believe there's not at least some subconscious degree of attempting to appeal sexually to someone, even if only to get his/her attention.
