i have to have more speech time on persuading school officials to allow guys to wear earrings if girls can.

Rather than coming up with your argument, simply ask the school officials, "Why can males not wear them and females can?" You should be able to hold a strong argument based on almost anything they say. It's absurd to me that in this day and age they would treat males and females differently in schools. Good luck with your persuasion!

it's because people judge you by your appearence, and if you wear earrings, people may wrongly think you are less than you are. you deserve to present yourself in a way that does not detract from your wholesome, serious student image. wear earrings after school or when you get older if you must. for now. concentrate on the studies, not the style.
