Of course having the grades and test scores is important, but so are extra curricular activities and volunteer work. Colleges want a well rounded student, so chose a few different activites and become actively involved with them. This will also open up many scholarship opportunities for you.

Make sure you have taken the SAT at least once, mainly after geometry. Depending on your scores and where you want them sent, a college will typically send something out.

write controversial letters to the uni magazine (if they get published) or just run around in a funny suit

by your PSAT where u can give them ur info. and alots of colleges will send info home for you.....and also you can go to the career center in ur school to ask for advices....good luck
