The tv's belong to someone and were left on the porch for a reason. If you "remove" the tv's from the porch, you may (should) also get a visit from the police just as your neighbors did. Think about it for a minute.......if you have a table and chairs on your porch and you wake up in the morning and they are gone....you would say they had been stolen. Same with the tv's.

Stealing is stealing. It is wrong. Shame on you. What is wrong with people today? You belong in prison, just like your evicted neighbors. Nothing is truly free. If you want a big screen tv. then you have to work for it, just like most of us.

If its been siting there and . well no. its illegal. but at night. you happen by there, and ow ..look its a bag. and pick it up and look around and walk off. what the hay.if someone says something tell them someone told you thats it ok. and that you heard it was ok. and yes, I took it. but I didnt know any better, and those people would have to sign to get you arrested. and the police dont care.if someone lives there NO do not take any thing. but if they have been in jail for a while. do it, but if they get out and you see them give it back.

I would be very wary of stealing from drug dealers. Leave the tvs and other belongings alone.

your mom is probably right, why the hell would the cords be cut unless they were trying to deter ppl from stealing it. I wouldn't do if i were u, but if u do, don't put it were they could just look through your window and see it for obvious reasons.

The stuff does not belong to you and the owners gave you no permission to take anything.
Taking the stuff would indeed be stealing.

I know you are tempted by this, but, it is stealing. IF, you knew they were in Jail and where, just go on visitation day and ask them if it be OK to keep their TV until they get out of jail. ;-)
