I don't expect Portuguese people to look Nordic...I actually expect them to have darker features like the Spanish or Italians...but I guess an exception is Merideth Vieira (from Millionaire)..she has lighter features...

You'd be surprised how little the average person knows about what is beyond their back yard. There is a lot of ignorance out there. But then, Christ is always depicted as 'Nordic', but in fact he probably looked like modern-day Middle Easterners.

sure. many human beings in the North have some Mongol blood, attributable to Genghis Khan and his boys, who made it to the sting of Europe. you will see this somewhat in Slavs (Ukrainians and Russians), yet additionally as far as Iceland. those with intense cheekbones, and slightly slanted eyes, which you look to have. this could be on those with honest pores and skin, blue eyes, and blond hair besides. So, "organic" Nordic might incorporate slightly the Mongol.
