No, I'm a very competitive person. I wouldn't give up until I won. The war in Iraq has far more drawbacks and therefore cannot be compared to silly children's games. This is serious business. I do realize that our troops are too entrenched to pull out now, but the direction must change, strategy must change or we will be there forever.
This war could have been avoided if our current administration hadn't insisted on misleading us with hype.
The situation is not getting better but worse as the days drag by.
If patience had been used, we would have had the troops to deploy to the real threat, North Korea. Now, our hands are tied. GWB knows this, because now he's trying to play the diplomacy card. Too late.
If Iraq had had WMD we should be aware that GWB would have taken the same stance that he does for North Korea. Seek the help of the UN. Further sanctions will only galvanize the North Korean resolve for revenge. Look out.

and did conservatives, when they were losing at gambling, continue to blindly push on instead of knowing when it was smart to get out?

look, either side can level childish accusations. why don't you ask a question with some substance instead of mindless drivel like this? i am a liberal, but i do think that we should remain in iraq. america is the reason for the dismal state of that nation today, and our nation has the responsiblity to fix what we broke. the main problems with politics today is that people act like children on the playground (like you did with this question) instead of reaching out to the other side and trying to figure out what is best.

Actually, no. I never started a fight in my life, but I used anything at my means to knock out any SOB who went after me first.

Which is similar to what our foreign policy would be.

The Republican strategy in your metaphor is to get a rock thrown at you by a 7th-grader, then go attack a 5th grader in return and when you find out you're beating up the wrong kid, telling everyone else that if you stop beating him up, you're a quitter.

Iraq is a playground to you Republicans, I realize that. But you should try a more sophisticated metaphor.

No indeed. Actually I'm a Republican like you sweet lady.

But, to answer your question, I said to myself back then, when I grow up I want my Republican leader to be a Major Twit and my dreams came true!!!!

I really didn't ask for the pedophilia congress though. I guess that was just thrown in but it's making me mad enough to spit... How about you? Are you mad enough to spit about those pedophiles or are you without children of your own??? Pretty thing like you ought to have kids...

Anyways, I'm thinking of joining the Democrats for just one election if you want to join me, let me know!!!

So you admit that Bush is just playing a "Macho" game in Iraq? And killing Americans to make the game more realistic!

That was what the rich kid always did, said "I'm taking the ball home!" to avoid loosing, so we made our own. Out of old rags. Worked better.

Do you think the 600,000 dead people appreciate their freedom? How many people have to die before you're happy?
