I'm 6'1 228 could someone give me a layout of what to do. What really works. Best advice gets the points and get to help a young brother.

Sure, it's illegal. But you can shed 30 pounds in
a couple weeks as well as get a lot of housecleaning done...

Diet and Exercise. Go to your local bookstore and buy a book called The South Beach Diet. This has shown me intense results, i lost about 50 lbs. In conjunction with cardiovascular training (about 30 mins 5-7 days per week). The diet goes in stages though, stage 1 which is low low carb and high protein. Stage 2 introduces some carbs back into your diet and still high protein. You stay on stage 2 until you reach your weight goal. Stage 3 is the final stage or where you should stay, and continue these eating habbits. Buy the book.....its well worth it!

Lots of cardio exercise and weight training. The weights firm up your muscles so that they burn fat more efficiently.
