Computer HELP needed ASAP?

hey my computer isnt working right is to slow.. an dI just wanted to know they are somethings on your computer that you cant see when you go to add/delete programs .. so how can I get to where those things are to delete them .. or how do I get the stuff off that I dont need I have deleted everything that I can from the add/delete programs place .. so I dont know what else to do .. so if you can help me that would be great .. PLEASE HELP :o)

Download TuneUp Utilities from www.download.com. It's free.
You can see which programs are running, which programs start up when you start up the computer, and you can also clean up your computer from unnecessary files, among other things. That's always the first program I use when I work on other people's computers to make them faster.

I only hope that you haven't screwed up your machine more than it was before you started deleting programs. Any way, Ive' seen a couple of answers given to your question that make sense. So I will elaborate/emphasize upon them.

Delete any and all Internet temporary files, cookies, history and cache. Do a check disk and a defrag, then restart your computer and see how it acts. If it is too slow, check to see what RAM you have and if you have anything less than 512, go get a card and increase it.

Another thing you can do to keep your machine clean and tuned up, go to the Tuneup Utilities 2006 and download their trial version; It is good and safe and if you like it pay about $35.00 and get; it it's easy to learn and it does a wonderful job.
