Some groups have argued that taxation without representation is not legal. It was never in the Bill of Rights, it was just a slogan used by people who did not want to pay the first US taxes.
Try not paying them & you will find how quickly the laws are used to lock you up. Example most of the big Mob bosses have been jailed for not paying taxes on illegal income.

Not true, read the 16th Amendment

The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes on incomes, from whatever source derived, without apportionment among the several states, and without regard to any census or enumeration.

The violation is in the implementation. Since the income tax is progressive and taxes more based upon income, it violates the equal protection clause. It is unfair that just because you make more, you have to pay more.

This is true. However, I wouldn't suggest not paying your taxes. The IRS will get you. Ask Willie Nelson.
Taxation without representation is also illegal, but look what's going on in DC. today. Individuals are losing to corporate America. We are being sold out.
