They hold a lot of cash and the later they stay open and earlier they open causes more time to be in danger of a robbery.

Also the people that work there are attracted to the hours offered at a bank. The bank caters to the High paid bankers and managers.

They bring in enough money and business during the day to stay safe and keep good working hours. Trust me I was a banker and it is a very stressful job mentally. If i had to stay any later I would have quit in the first 2 weeks. You have management and customer son your butt 24-7. The money was good, but what it does to your attitude is not worth it.

My bank is in a 24 hour grocery store. They have a lot later hours than a regular bank, and they are open on the weekend.

I work for a bank and I wish WE had short and weird hours....A lot of our banks are open past 7pm....
