If you are going to buy it, get your Will done. Other than that, waste of money.

At least get a will out of it before cancelling. I have had PPL for over 7 years. I have used it on several occassions:
1. Our college daughter had a checks stolen and needed legal advice.
2. Our 18 year old son was in a car accident in which he was hit from behind by a driver without any insurance.
3. I got a speeding ticket and a lawyer went with me to traffice court and my fine was reduced.
The best part about PPL is that I can call them with any legal concern and discuss it with a lawyer for as long as I feel necessary. I mean, I call them even if I am wondering about something! I really like this part. The lawyers have been extremely helpful in answering my questions and I have learned alot, too!
If I were you, I would hang on to it for one year, at least. Try it out.

I use to have pre-paid legal and my boyfriend still has it. I closed my account because when I needed legal help, there was really no help there for me. My boyfriend still has it because he is too lazy to cancel. Well anyway, you do feel a sense of protection. I've heard from a friend that when he got pulled over by a cop, he showed him his pre-paid legal card and the cop was "scared". Eh, if you are serious about it, keep it - if not, run away and don't look back!

It's legitimate and has been in Arizona for many years. However, how often do you contemplate using an attorney for anything? If you never have used one, then a monthly fee is a waste of money. If you have, or anticipate having, a lot of legal matters, then it's worth it.

Depends on what your risk exposure is at home/work and exactly what it covers. At lawyers' fees, your not going to get much at 26$ a month. It is a nice way for them (insurance co.) to hold your money w/ the interest going to them.

If you feel you will use it in the next several months (real estate, wills, etc.) then keep it. If not, ditch it.
