-im an engineering student using pro e and autoCad and stuffs..erm price is also a consideration.. spill it out guys

Whatever computer you buy, remember it needs to have a 1-2GB ram, minimum 256 MB graphics card, 100GB hard drive, Intel processor >3GHz. Now do you need to buy HP, I don't think it's necessary, you can with any computer, just get this specs in there.
You should get a decent desktop in $400-$500 range (no flat screen)

the best one is the one you can afford. if you have to sacrifice some where maybe get a smaller hard drive, as that's a lot easier to upgrade later on than processor and other things.

Of course Pro E and Auto Cad need a certain amount to be installed, they might not run well with a slower processor.
