Could it function as a metaphor for manhood?

Should a woman get involved with a man that keeps having problems with his autoclave?
Wouldn't that mean that he would have problems with other equipment as well?

There are different types of autoclaves. In plain englis, it is an oven like chamber that produces chemical changes to elements put inside of it. I worked on rebuilding a heat/vacuum autoclave for the aircraft window industry back in 1987. A piece f plexiglass that was preformed was put into the autoclave for a certain length of time and in a certain heat range to cure the plexiglass to make more resistant to breakage, shattering, etc.

An autoclave sterilizes instruments. A metaphor for manhood, I sure hope not!

Per Wikipedia:

An autoclave is a pressurized device designed to heat aqueous solutions above their boiling point. It was invented by Charles Chamberland in 1879.

It's also like the thing in your dentist's office used to sterilize tools.

Metaphor for manhood? Maybe, if it's in reference to being sterile.

An autoclave can be a high pressure vessel. Your analogy with some women would be apt.
