Anyone of you who grew up during that fun decade remember those ol' Doug McClure monster/dinosaur movies:

The Land That Time Forgot
The People That Time Forgot

Doug was the quintessential "movie hero" type in his day.
When I say those flicks as a kid, I wanted to be him so bad! He was so cool! (& his leading ladies were always HOT!)

Was sad when he died...

i think he was in journey to the center of the earth and he had the tome tavelling series too.

Just watched The Land that Time Forgot the other day on cable....so cheesy but such fun to watch. He and Troy Donahue were the inspiration for the Simpsons Troy McClure character.

I can remember him from the tv show "The Virginian". He was a good actor.
