Performing classical music, being on an album, playing rock music, being a vocal soloist, teaching at a university, lecturing, road-tripping, writing. I did all of these things.

That my adult life was going to be sad and meaningless without hope, and that I would die alone sleeping under a bridge during winter because I would have no home.
