Yeah, it's a bad set, but raising the minimum wage isn't the answer, either. Government DE-regulation is the way to put more money in everyone's pockets. You'll understand when you're older.

The last amendment to the constitution covers this subject. It simply states that if politicians vote to give theme selves a raise then it will not take effect until the next election term and its possible that they will not be in office. Politicians are a very very very very small population and their pay does not affect the economy as much as raising min. wage would. The cost of goods would up because it would cost more labor to make them. You would then have to shell out more money than the price you were paying for the same item. Its for this very reason major corporations hire outside of the US. The less labor cost = more profit. Minimum wage would affect million and millions of people. If you look at minimum wage you will see that it does go up and so does the cost of living. There is really no way to effectively raise minimum wage so that more money is kept by the employee.

congress voted for and passed automatic pay raises for themselves back in the 80's. As long as they are getting theirs they could care less about the American people. This is why there should be term limits on Senators and Representatives.

because democrats actually believe there congressman and senators work for them! you can't be that disillusioned even with both houses they didn't pass it ! neither did the republicans..
