My cousin's daughter unlike me lives in the city and she home schools .besides Boy Scouts and church clubs etc. Her son plays and mixes with the kids in the neighborhood . Those that go to public achool and those that go to church schools

I hope home schooling Moms write in because to me, I know as a high school graduate with only a couple of college courses, I would have done my children a great dis-service to home school. How could I possibly teach someone something that I don't know. What if their gifted or have dyslexia or something that a parent couldn't detect or handle. I want to hear why it is a good idea.

I went to a public school and made a lot of great friends and learned a lot about life and relationships I dont think I would have learned at home. It will be good for your socials skills later. Good Luck in whatever you decide.

Yes, because you just may learn the correct use of capital letters and how to spell common words like 'public'.

It really depends on your reasons for thinking about home school. My brother was home schooled for one year, did several years of private, and then public high school.
