I've worked all 3 shifts, and tomorrow am interviewing for a job on afternoons. I wouldn't want to work full time afternoons because it really messes up your life, like, you really don't have one. I hopefully I'll be working four days per week. A plus is that traffic isn't bad coming home from work. Another plus it gives you some time in the morning to get something done.

I spent the bulk of my nursing career on second shift, but have been on nights for the last eight years. Second is the most disruptive to having a decent life! If I had it to do over, I would have taken nights if I couldn't have had days. You don't realize the price you pay, and then your kids are grown and gone.

Yeah toddler! I paintings 5-10 p.m. & you will not think of i could be wakeful this previous due when I ought to upward thrust up early with young ones, yet i'm so jazzed up after paintings that I often can not sleep.
