When you're finally about to purpose to the woman you love, what makes you feel like you love her, what has she done and what does it take for a guy to finally realize he wants to spend the rest of his life with this one paticular girl? Is this a stupid question?

It's not a stupid question. For me, I realized, that she was my best friend. A person who I could depend on, but wouldn't let me take advantage of. Someone who's face made me smile. Who's word I could trust and who was more interested in me more than having million of dollars.
We connected mentally from the first time we met. There are probably millions of women who could make me feel the way she makes me feel and treats me the way she does. By if I already have one right in front of me, why look further?

Not a stupid question at all. Marriage is o.k. if children will become involved. I recommend living with the woman and skip the marriage hassle.

When the relationship moves from "enjoyable company and time spent together" to "I can't imagine moving on in life without her" -- it's time to propose.

Seriously, look forward in your life to when you are old and failing in health. Is this the woman who will be there to help you, change your diapers, and blending up your meals? If you can see her doing that for you, you have found yourself a winner.
