MSN Messenger. This is not flawless, but it's quick.

Or, if you have an Internet Provider who grants you a web site, inquire how much disk space you get. For Comcast, I know it is 80 Megs. I often place files onto the web server and then give people a URL that automatically downloads the file to their computer. I find HTTP protocol to be fast and intuitive.

FTP is good, but it requires an FTP client or knowledge of obscure UNIX commands and access to a UNIX prompt. My advice is to go with what is easy and what others will be able to figure out intuitively and quickly. Everyone has Messenger and everyone has transferred files with it.

i think that is not any longer the utility (limewire, frostwire) that has the viruses, however the information you obtain that infect your computer. whilst it quite is asserted that they are 'virus unfastened' they are pertaining to this methodology and not the information you obtain. yet another p2p record sharing application is shareaza. it is likewise virus unfastened...in simple terms pay attention what you're downloading.
