This isn't about me wanting to be popular. lol I'm neither really popular or unpopular - I'm just normal. I'm just curious about what exactly makes some kids annoying/unpopular.

Most of the time it's materialistic views. The majority of the unpopular kids don't wear the latest shoes or clothes or have nice hair do's and hair cut's or high tech devices like cell phones, cd players, mp3's, and things of that nature. Also if they are interested in things that seem different to the other kids like different music are types of clothing and other activities that they do. It's all pretty stupid and shallow now that I think about it.

Well I haven't been a highschool student in four years but what I can tell you is that people, no matter how old can feel when others easily intimidated. What I mean bu this is, attitude and the way a person carries themselves is everything. I don't mean being conceited or good looking- I mean attitude. If a person has a sense of "air" about themselves, other people see that.. They fear it.. If one person thinks you're popular, others simply follow.. I mean I was very popular in highschool but I never really paid attention to it. This may be why I was popular... But if a person has little to no self confidence and it shows, and they try too hard, it shows...

Because they chose to be, being popular wasn't anything to the people that cared more about school. But popular students picked on the unpopular and made them even more unpopular. And not only cheerleaders and athletes were popular, we had best dress click, always in trouble click, gay clicks, and people that just wanted to fit in click and so on.

Most people are popular because they have more exposure, such as cheerleaders and football players. They are not necessarily better people, just prettier and more athletic. Being popular doesn't mean anything. Just be who you are and accomplish your goals. Most people who are really successful are "nerds." Like Bill Gates.

Some are just so Goth and emo you get depressed by even trying to talk to them. Others are so extremely quiet and shy they won't even answer back when you talk to them. And others are just guys who wear pink tanktops and are confused about their own sexuality
