Sara Evans Quits Dancing with the Stars
Country star Sara Evans has decided to pull out of the Dancing with the Stars competition due to personal reasons, an ABC spokesperson confirms to PEOPLE. Evans, who had reached the final six and was a fan favorite, made her announcement to the network earlier today.

Evans, 35, who was partnered with professional dancer Tony Dovolani, will make her final appearance on the show on October 17. "This has really taken me by surprise," Dovolani told PEOPLE about her departure.

The ABC representative says that Evans, who has three young children ranging in age from 2 to 7, will explain her decision for leaving on the live telecast. A personal rep for Evans could not be reached for comment.

I think it's wrong, she should finish what she started. I am sure she was having marital issues long before she signed on to do the show.

So if we're going to be one couple short now, I wonder what will happen with the show? Will the season end a week early? Will someone be brought back and given a 2nd chance? Could be interesting.

It's really sad that she and her husband are divorcing. They've been married 13 years and have three kids. I can understand her wanting to leave the show. What sucks is, because she did that, she is going to be center of papparazzi attention and will be on magazine covers across the country. Her quitting the show is only going to put that much more attention on the failure of her marriage.

Here's a partial report of what i read...???

ABC told E! News that the network has no comment at this time and, wouldn't you know, you have to tune in next Tuesday to find out more info.

A source told Us Weekly, however, that Evans is "in the middle of a nasty divorce and it is too much for her to keep going." Evans had been married to Craig Schelske since 1993.

"If it is true, it is too bad because dance has a really healing quality to it as well, and I think the family of DWTS could be a great support system for her," Inaba told the magazine.

"I watch them care for each other and sometimes it is good to be around people who care about you and I think that would be good for her. But she has to take care of herself and take care of her life, and I'm sure she is making a good decision for herself. We will all support her."

Well, it should have been Sara that was voted off this week anyway, and not Willa. Actually, if not for her fans, she would have been out of there right after Tucker! It would be great if they bring Willa back since Sara left. She was improving, but not a good dancer like Willa.
