I'm like the only guy freshman that is crazy about history. Is it going to be hard to find a girl later on interested in history? (I'm not looking for one at the moment, just wondering if they exist.)

thanks for the encouragement, did I mention that I wasnt a geek? Actually history is a hobby, but music is my passion. I play guitar, piano, tuba, baritone, accordion, harmonica, and trumpet.

wait till you go to college. they will all fess up to their nerdy obsessions or discover them. i didn't really care about that sort of thing when i was in high school, but now i love history. college does wonders. funny thing is, you probably will end up falling in love with someone a lot different than you. oh yeah, and when you hit 25, all the geeks start to get the girls...

sorry, didn't mean to indirectly call you a geek... but, its true, just so you know! it is good though that you want someone with something in common with you!

I am a girl who likes history. But I don't really like learning about ancient history, I am more interested in history within the last 3 or 4 centuries.

Yes, I am an extreme history buff (and history major). I was in high school too, as were many of my friends. Check museums- we are out there.

History is fascinating but has very little going for it as a carreer. That's why I skipped it in college and went for dentist. Of course now we dentists have the highest suicide rates so perhaps history is better

I personally am a big history buff, don't hide it but don't flaut it either, there is always someone for everyone. And there is always someone that doesn't have their facts striaght and you can help them out.

Lol, yeah, they do exist. I'm a history buff myself. So, I'm sure you'll find one [sooner or later] who loves it, too.
