but the blank page wont go away now, and i had to upload the document on Adobe and now it shows a blank page after my document. How do i get rid of it from Microsoft Word?

Hit CTRL-END to go to the bottom of the document. Then start hitting the backspace key until you end up on the first page.

An alternate way to fix this would be to reduce your upper or lower margins until everything fits on one page. You could also adjust the left and right margins to get everything on one page by decreasing the total number of lines on the page.

Short answer:
Go to the very tail end of the last character of the first page. Hit the delete key until the 2nd page disappears.

click at the bottom of the blank page. Where ever the curser appears, keep hitting the backspace until you get to the last character you typed on the first page. the blank page should go away
