Big rule in business is "everything in writing" otherwise your agreement is as good as the paper it is written on .. good for nothing. YES, you can be evicted. Get the agreement in writing!

okay you go through all of the trouble to sign a lease because you know it's important and now you want to rely on something verbal? Makes no sense does it? You can still be evicted. Legally your lease says it all, nothing verbal can change it. Tough break, but next time you will know better.

was there anyone else there when the verbal agrrement was made?
Its hard because if there wasnt it would be your word against theres and they usualy side with them if there was no other witnesess.
