Interesting question and the 1st two answers attracted my attention. Why, because neither answer seemed to apply to the question asking how a deontologist in WWII Germany would react to the Holocaust.

1st...denonotolgist is defined as: logical of moral obligation, the study of what is obligatory, permissible, right and wrong in moral terms.

Sprouts Mom (SM) asks the title of the course deals with the various philosophical attitudes toward the murder of millions of people. An I trust your world that very well educated in the Holocaust,WWII and all.

Philosophy is the explanation of basic concepts (not logic). The brand of knowledge or academic study of academic study to the examination of systematic examination of basic concepts of truth, existence and freedom.

And to B'klyn Barracuda... I fail to see the association in regretting not extracting more of their gold teeth for smelting...by the Waffen SS Dentolgist. Waffen SS were armed German troops and not dentist.

So my answer is that a denontolgist would be appalled by the Nazi Germany but be ineffective in providing anything but a moral objection.

Also,I have no reason to believe these guys were dentists or even were assinged to pull gold teeth from prisoners.

What is the title of the course you are taking that deals with various philosophical attitudes toward the murder of hundreds of millions of people worldwide.
I am VERY well educated when it comes to the Holocaust - cause and effect, WWII, etc. and this is over the top.
Read some of the transcripts.
