I always wondered that myself. Too much evidence to prove it did happen. Eisenhower was right about people denying it ever happened but we have the film footage and Nazi testimony as well as many eyewitnesses.

Most people who dispute this Jewish fairy tale are doing so conscientiously, believing that they are right and that they have good reasons for thinking that the Holocaust story is, at best, largely exaggerated. I'll mention some of the reasons.
Jews who have given sworn courtroom testimony regarding the "Nazi death camps" have contradicted themselves, each other, available physical evidence, and the laws of nature. How's that for a start?
The Holocaust story has changed over time, including the manner of death (it wasn't always said to be carried out by Zyklon B hydrogen cyanide gas) and various alleged peripheral outrages that the Jews once swore were true (i.e., the human fat soap and the human skin lampshades), but now say probably aren't true after all. Although one's beliefs about what the truth is might change over time, the truth itself does not change, but remains the same always. So, at best, the Jews once insisted as a certainty that the Nazis did such-and-such, but now they're not so sure. What ELSE do they now insist on as a certainty that, in fact, isn't all that certain? Hm?
When hydrogen cyanide gas remains in prolonged contact with the iron in red brick, the hydrocyanic acid reacts with the iron to form a blue ferric-ferrocyanide stain called Prussian blue. Prussian blue is not merely a surface stain: it penetrates the brick itself and sometimes goes all the way to the other side. In other words, it cannot be removed. That is, the Nazis could not have washed it off the walls no matter how hard they tried. Any Prussian blue that formed during all those months of exterminating Jews with hydrogen cyanide gas would still be on the bricks of the buildings wherein the murders were carried out.
Guess what? No Prussian blue staining is found on THOSE buildings. The buildings which the Jews have claimed as the WW2 Nazi gas chambers don't show a bit of Prussian blue.
This reaction isn't theoretical. It really does occur, and it did occur on the one building that really was exposed for long periods to Zyklon B hydrogen cyanide gas. That building is the delousing facility in which the Nazis fumigated lice-infested clothing, drapery, bedding, and carpet. It was necessary to disinfest these items because the lice carried the typhus virus, and typhus was at that time a deadly disease that killed thousands of people.
Remember those camp photos with naked Jews? Those pictures were probably made on delousing day. The Jews didn't have a second pair of clothes to wear, so they just stayed put and waited until their pants got back from the delousing building.
The Holocaust is based in partial truths. The "evidence" starts with a picture, such as a big pile of human dead bodies. The bodies really are the remains of dead people: that much is true. What you can't trust is the captioning that appears under the picture. A pile of corpses said to be dead Jews at Buchenwald might actually be a pile of dead Germans near Dresden. If it is a pile of dead Jews, you can't be certain whether they were gassed or whether they died of typhus. All you have to go on is the word of the Jews, who, remember, have been caught time and again in conflict with themselves, each other, the physical evidence and the laws of nature.
Why would the Jews lie? To get money. There's no business like shoah business, and while belief in the Holocaust remains widespread, they're going to milk that cash cow for every cent they can get.

They believe that nothing that horrible could have taken place. even when we have all the proof that it did happen, they dont want to believe it. the Holocaust was a ghastly time in history, people would rather deny this than accept that a human can stoop down to that level.

Because they're racists (Jew haters specifically) and this denial fits in with their agenda. The little Hitler of Iran is promoting this lie, as well as the so-called "palestinians," who are taught from birth to hate Jews. They all want to accomplish today what Hitler failed to do. Denying the Holocaust is a way of expressing intense hate toward the people who went through it.

No, they just honestly believe it didn't happen.
They believe the holocaust didn't happen the same way some people believe they've been abducted by aliens, or the way some people believe in a supernatural god.
It's all fundamentally the same sort of belief.

It is such a horrible thing to have happened, its like in a horror show people laugh so they will not be afraid. it is denial of the animistic nature of people. we should not only remember that. but also the close to extermination of the native Americans. we should all be ashamed, and remember and honor there memories.god bless america and all of her people.and we should have respect for ALL people no matter there beleifs, and customs. god loves us all.

Because the increasing death toll, (1,000,000 Jews in the past 30 years), coupled with the disappearance of non-Jewish victim stats, makes us think it more Jewish bullsh!t used as a cover up for their sins against America.

Maybe they are scared that the same brainwashing that Hitler did could be done to them. So, if you deny such a thing ever happened, then you are thinking "That can't happen to me"
