Well, I suppose it would make a difference if you meant Indian as in Native American, or Indian as in from India- Indian? I think most of the beauty contests are based on what the judges want to hear and see, rather on the content of the participants, I say join anyway and know that you did the best you could do. Persoannly I've met the 2005 Ms. Indian World (as in Native American) Delana Smith, and she won on the basis of her dancing skills, not on beauty basis. I think you should go ahead and enter- but don't let it get to your head!

Definitely. All you have to do is act confident. My friend entered the NJ/PA Miss. India Pageant and she won Miss. Congeniality because of that, smile a lot. Don't pout, smiles look way better. For that pageant, there were rounds of questions and talents, as well. I don't know about your contest, but don't focus solely on looks. If you're confident, i know ull make it. Good luck! Who knows, you might be the next Aishwarya Rai!

no longer something suprises me anymore, What movements ought to be taken? nicely, the muslim international places shouldn't carry them and no muslim women ought to take part in them as some all of us is asserting its ok for a women to do it if shes donning hijab however the full factor of those contests is to work out the womens attractiveness and study the ladies, the hijab has allowed women to no longer be judged on our seems yet then why do women decide to connect this?? It is going against all of modesty for a women in Islam.

If it means anything to you, go for it. If you don't want to parade around and be judged like cattle at the 4H show, then don't bother. It's your call entirely. As to whether you would qualify in the preliminary rounds, who knows? No one knows who the contestants will be, what they look like, what you look like, and what else is considered in this contest.

What you've described can be a wide range of looks. Hard to tell with just a description.
