I am not sure about Pit Bulls but Rottweielers make beatiful pets. I currently have a Rottweiler and an Australian Terrier. Believe it or not the Australian Terrier is more vicious than the Rotweiler even though the ausie terrier is a lot smaller than the rottie. My Rottweilers name is Roxy, she's nilly 4 and she is extremely gentle and wouldn't harm a fly. However she does let out a monstrous bark if she sees people walking past our house. I have no rerets about buying a big dog lieka rottweieler but if we did not take her to obediance classes (which taught her to sit, stay, some, drop and how to walk on a lead properly) when she was a puppy it would probobly be the opposite. Rottweielers are very big and strong dogs and need to get trained when they are a puppy.

I haven't seen ones that aren't, I've had a rottweiler and she was a wonderful dog, we had another one too, and she didn't make it long, she was really hyper, but she was sweet too. My friends have a pit bull and she is one of the most loveable dogs I have ever seen.

Nope. Too many of them have been bred for the sole purpose of being aggressive that it's now often genetic though some can be trained otherwise if you start at birth.
