More decorations will just mean more beggars; if you don't want to give any candy away, just keep all your lights off and sit inside, don't answer the doorbell, and chow down. Not nearly as much fun, though.

Remember that very small children do not deserve to be traumatized for your entertainment.

PS....no.

PSS...so, go trick or treating yourself, and you won't need to decorate your house or buy candy. Plus, you are already scary and won't need a costume...

Well why spend the money & time for decorations? If you want to eat the candy yourself, turn all the lights out, and get a CD with barking dogs, this will scare any or all little ones away, while you sit in the dark & eat !

If you don't want kids you're supposed to keep the lifghts on the roadside part of your house off. If you do want to give candy then you put the lights on and or decorate.
