You can ovulate at any time, but it is most common right between the first day of one period and the first day of the next. If you're on a 28-day cycle (most common) this is what your ovulation schedule would look like. Days with ** are when you're most likely to get pregnant.

So yes, one week after your period is the ideal time to get pregnant. Of course you can ovulate on "accident" at any time during your cycle (even during your period) but these are the most common days.

Yes. Some women can ovulate during a period. Ovulation is not a definate date that you can find on your calendar. It can happen any time. Even more difficult, sperm can live inside you for up to 4 days, so if you ovulate a day or two after having sex you are still at risk of becoming pregnant.

Despite the disgusting replies I have already read here....There are studies showing that a woman's ovulation cycle can vary and that it's not as predictable as we were once taught. This means it's not as predictable as we thought to when a girl can become pregnant.

With this new knowlege, and with the increasing frequency of sexually transmitted dieases, it's probably best to to at least wear a condom during intercourse to prevent pregnancy and disease.

If you think you are pregnant, wait at least a week off of your period, I'd suggest relaxing for a week at the very least. Wait for another week to visit a doctor or Planned Parenthood or to take a drugstore test.

There's no paticular way to tell. Until you start noticing signs. The best thing to do is to get a home pregnacy test. And if you're still worried, i'd schedule a docter's appointment. If you start experiences morning sickness and cramps then most likely you're pregnant. At any time you could get pregnant. on your period or not. That's why it's always good to use the pill or condoms to prevent.

yes you ovulate up to 14 days from the day you start wait another week and go buy a test or wait till you are due for your next period

Oh yes! There even are cases when woman got pregnant during period,so you're never safe.

yes u can but it is unsafe 2 do it my best friend tried and a cuople days later she had got really sick and died that afternoon plz don't try it is very dangerous
