Yeah, I don't think the any other country in the world gives a darn about the US problem with illegal immigration and the policies being made about it. Mainly, it's because the problem doesn't affect the rest of the world, directly at least. Sure, it affects Mexico, Cuba, and a host of other Latin and South American nations, but they aren't complaining (except Cuba, where Mr. Castro wants to keep his people barred in). In fact, I'm sure Mexico is quite happy about it, illegals get into the US, work for almost nothing (still more than they would get in Mexico) and bring it back to circulate in the Mexican economy. Not to shabby for Mexico eh?

As for the wrath of the US on this matter, I don't believe there will be any. Sure, the US may increase border security and deportation rates may sky-rocket, but as far as some form of punishing wrath, it's unlikely. I don't see a giant nationwide government illegal immigrant hunt in the near future, mostly because it would cost a horrendous amount of $$$ and the material required (vehicles for transporting the illegals, GASOLINE, places to hold them, personnel, security equipment, etc.) would be absurd.

Plus, even IF, and I especially stress IF, the US decided to engage some "wrath" upon illegals, the world wouldn't care. The only time the world gives a darn about US policy is when it directly affects them, such economic changes, declarations of war, etc.

My point is this: The wrath of the US government upon the illegals, which won't happen in all realistic thinking, wouldn't piss the world off at all unless the price was so high as to screw up our economy or it ended with a declaration of war upon Mexico. Aside from that, the EU, the MEC, the PRC, Africa, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Iran, Israel, Japan, Australia, Great Britian, Taiwan, South Africa, Egypt, and all the other major powers of the world would just sit on their butts and enjoy the show.

(And yes, I realize that Australia isn't exactly a "major power", but hey, they have kangaroos, that's got to count for something you know?)

It's just a matter of time and hopefully only the ones that deserve the "Wrath" will feel it. Not all of them deserve to be punished, just the middle east and that's not really there fault. They can't help what they where raised to beleive, even though it is wrong.
